I am beyond honored to be the 2017 winner of the Mary Alice Hadley Prize for Visual Art! When I moved to Louisville it was my goal to be involved in the art community and make an impact. It really feels amazing to have such a vote of confidence in me and my studio practice from Louisville Visual Art and the Community Foundation of Louisville.

I can't believe its been over a year since I have updated this. Sorry if anyone was disappointed. Its been a doozy of 12+ months. I moved, I reinstalled an entire museum's worth of artwork, I got married, I had a solo show in Nashville,  I went to a printmaking conference as well as helping to host another printmaking conference, was a visiting artist in California and Missouri and I traveled. . .a lot. My full time museum contract recently ended and now I am exploring what my options are in freelancing as a preparator/art installer for other museums in town as well as what it is like to be a full time studio artist as well. I think a lot of my lack of updating is due to the struggle of finding quality studio time while also having a full time job. I hope moving forward you will all get better updates from me. ALSO, I have an upcoming solo show at The Green Building Gallery in early December 2016 which has really lit a fire under me to get some work done.

Its been a while since an update and so much has happened. I graduated in May with my Masters of Fine Arts in Printmaking and will be moving at the end of July to Louisville, Kentucky. I am busy planning tons of new adventures for this fall, including a solo show at Space 204 at Vanderbilt University. I also will have work at both David Lusk Gallery locations in August - in Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee, as well as participating in a group show at Roots & Culture in Chicago. The info for the show at R&C is below.

Things have been busy busy lately! I am thrilled to have been juried into The Southern Printmaking Biennial VI . The show runs through December 10th at the Bob Owens Gallery at the University of North Georgia. Also, if you are around the Austin, TX area, a few pieces of my work is now available for purchase at The Lion's Nest, a cute print gallery and gift shop co-owned by my friend Johanna Mueller. We also had the awesome Erik Waterkotte here at NIU as a visiting artist last month and pulled some very large photo etching/silkscreen prints with him.  Lastly I have just been swamped rounding things up for my MFA show in March of 2015!
